Cookies & Cream On Elmwood: Buffalo’s Charming Ice Cream Spot with Classic and Creative Flavors

I wish that we would’ve come here sooner! Cookies and Cream on Elmwood is one of the coolest ice cream spots in Buffalo. It’s beautiful and nostalgic. Delicious ice cream sundaes are served up by the friendliest staff. We are looking forward to a quick return to cookies and cream!

Was good... butter pecan and cookies and cream. Was a bit hard. Its ice cream or maybe Buffalo does ice cream different than the west coast. I let it warm up the cookies and cream 10 for 10. Butter pecan 15 outta 10. My wife got strawberry on a white chocolate macadamia cookie [think that] strawberry wasn't outta the park. 8.5 outta 10 It was good. The cookie. 7.5 of 10 it was sweet and im a candy addict.. so that says something. Would go again if in Elmwood. The workers were top notch both men were attentive even when he scooper forgot my order he was apologetic about it. And I respect that.

Very cute and quaint. Good first date spot, or if you just need a spot to get away and decompress for a moment. The sugar cookie is delicious, but the smores cookie is top tier! It's a chocolate based cookie versus your standard tan. The strawberry cheesecake icecream 9/10 Cookies and cream icecream 1000/10 (please try) Cookie dough icecream 8/10 You're allowed to split one scoop of icecream into two types of flavors as well. Tap water offered for free to drink. (No ice) Plenty of seating, wheelchair accessible. There's a back patio with extra chairs for larger groups. Gluten free and dairy free options! Only sorbets are offered for dairy free. There's no dairy free icecream options. This would be a 5/5 if more dairy free options were included. I have gone between 5-7pm and it was generally not very crowded, and the people are more quiet. Visited during end of july/early august! Nothing above and beyond for customer service, but the employees are kind and respectful with smiles on their faces. Which is always appreciated.

The ice cream is delicious! The shop is nice and colorful. I do think the shop could use some AC because it is very hot. On the bright side the staff is very well trained and prepared for any request. I definitely will be coming back a lot in the future!

We stopped in after dinner down the street, and it did not disappoint! We got a HUGE ice cream sandwich to go, and the cookies and the ice cream were both fantastic. There were a lot of flavors. Their other goods looked creative and delicious. The atmosphere is charming, as well! I will absolutely be coming back.

This is a review for Cookies & Cream On the Water, which is located at the Outer Harbor. We were very happy customers! Mary Catherine took care of our order and expertly created picture-perfect, delicious desserts. The cookie dough creation was crowned best in show, but everyone enjoyed their treat and the lovely waterfront setting. Highly recommended and a special shoutout to Mary Catherine who was very kind and helpful!

Stopped by for some dessert with my girlfriends. The price was not bad at all. I ordered the toasted or roasted (cant remember) coconut ice cream. Im a huge coconut lover. This is by far some of the most delicious and flavorful coconut flavored ice cream I've ever had. I don't live anywhere near this ice cream shop, but I will definitely make it my mission to make my way back here for some more of that coconut ice cream.
